How does Seeding work?
How does Seeding work?
All races will be pre-seeded before the day, however, this is a guide only. On the day we will close registration 1 hour before the published time for each event (eg 100m). This will allow us to re-seed the event to make sure if we get any no shows they are not going to disadvantage anyone.

The race is seeded according to PBs. It is important that you include your correct PB when you enter a race. If you improve your PB after you have submitted your entry, it is possible for you to update it via the Entry 4 Sports site.

Please register at the track and at your field event. Clarify your race start time. Talk to the lead for the field event. They should be able to move your position within a round to try to help you do both. If you are away for a long period, you might miss one round of the field event. If you are high jumping, you might miss a height.

Your family and friends are very welcome to come and watch. We have a club house which will be serving a range of hot and cold refreshments. We do not have seating or a covered area so they might want to bring a chair and a small tent if the forecast is for rain.

At Stourport Sports Club we are very lucky to have a large field next to the first bend of the track that is available to park on. We also have a number of disability spaces with easy access.

On the day, there will be a QR code which you can use to access live results.

Race lists will be published as soon as seeding has been completed. This should happen within 45 minutes of the published start time for the first race of each event.

If we receive notification that an athlete with a place in an event withdraws before the day, the person who is in position number 1 on the waiting list will receive an email offering them that place. Please do not travel to Stourport if you have not received such a message.

It is very helpful if you could let us know if you are unable to attend as we can offer the place to someone on the waiting list. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the entry fee.
